Here’s a quick playthrough video featuring my parts (excluding the drums). Since we didn’t have the opportunity to release our usual video last time, here’s a quick take of it.

I was watching Star Wars (Rebels) when something suddenly hit me, like a sharp headache. I felt compelled to grab the bass and start playing a riff that had been stuck in my head. It wasn’t anything overly complicated, but it had to have that distinctive hanging beat reminiscent of old Slayer songs from their album “South of Heaven.” That’s how it began, and the rest was just the pure, unadulterated feeling of the beat. When I showed it to Sr. Diaz, he said that I had listened to it repeatedly for a few days before waking up with the story in my head.

A few months ago, I began searching for individuals who would be interested in collaborating with me on creating new music. As life progressed, I realized the need to find an outlet to express and publish the music I had written. I had directly approached musician friends and shared my music online, but the response was consistently zero. Moreover, the individuals who did respond either failed to show up or had personal issues that left me feeling isolated, as I had been in the beginning. As my good friend Freddy Mercury once said, “The show must go on,” because these tracks wouldn’t be completed on their own.

Many things happen at the same time when you are recording a music video and of course when you are a musician and you are playing to a recorded track. Taking in count that you know the song and the music is playing loud enough for you to hear it while all the cameras are rolling and capturing your convincing performance, everything should go accordantly. In this case...

Nothing really complicated in fact the whole opposite. I’d like to think that this was done in the line of Ian Hill of Judas Priest because when i wrote this song that was the idea… Judas Rising. In any case i loved it.
